A Service Project of Rotary District 7670

Honoring WWII veterans of Western NC

Their Courage, Sacrifice, and Valor

HonorAir has grown. From a community service project of Rotary Club of Asheville in 2008 it has grown into a District 7670 event and beyond. Rotary Club of Asheville still plays a key role in supporting the flights from our district by supplying volunteers and organization skills learned from our experiences with this great project.

In the fall of 2009 District 7670 held 2 more HonorAir flights.

In spring of 2010, on May 15th, 2010 (Armed Forces Day) Rotary Club of Asheville is again taking the lead helping with a District 7670 HonorAir flight to the WWII Memorial in Washington DC. For questions about HonorAir, or to volunteer contact one of the co-Chairs for this project:

John Palmer

Ken Barry
