ABCCM Veterans Thanksgiving Day Breakfast
Every 4th Thursday in November (2 weeks after Veterans Day) our country sets aside a day for us to give thanks - for the bounty of our land, for family and friends, and for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.

As Rotarians we set aside time to serve and honor veterans that helped us secure these freedoms and blessings. We do this in several ways:
Breakfast:
A group of 25-30 volunteers (Rotarians, friends, and family members) bring a hot breakfast of biscuits, muffins, juice, eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, etc. to the ABCCM Veterans Restoration Quarters in Swannanoa (Map) and serve it to the resident veterans.

We also provide musical entertainment for the veterans by our gifted Rotary musicians . . .

Coat Drive:

We also bring coats and other warm clothing to distribute to the veterans. We start collecting the warm coats in November.
